virgin.net email account not accessible has it been closed down?

I seem to be unable to access my virgin.net account since monday. Has it been closed down or are there known issues. any help to enable me to at least get what was on the system would be helpful. I have had this account active for 15 odd years.

No not any more. but the account was in daily use even on sunday. 

it says this when I try to log in:

We didn't recognise the username or password you entered. Please try again.

have spoken to virgin help desk who said its a talk talk account, but they say its virgin media & its virgin media I log in to for access under my email. so now confused.

Talk talk has nothing to do with this.


Your eail account should of closed 90 days after you left. VM can't help you remain access

@Kev_B when will the call center stop sending people to talktalk

STILL GOT NO EMAIL THREE DAYS.

Still got the same issue, no email since monday, spoke to virgin, they said its a talk talk issue, they say it is definitely a VM issue.  it says,: We didn't recognise the username or password you entered. Please try again. cant get past that bit wont allow me to change p/w or anything. driving me mad

Unfortunately,  as you are  not a VM broadband customer you are not entitled to use the email account.

The only thing that VM staff can do is make sure the account has been completely deleted from their servers.

They should reach this thread later this evening.  Otherwise it will be tomorrow when they respond.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. I am sorry for the email issues. What is the status of the email please on Mailtester? You can find out here

 

If it's showing as inactive, then all we can do is completely delete it from all servers.
