Ok, so when you sign into your primary Virgin Media broadband account, that is the one you use to check your monthly bills, do you see the virgin.net email address listed under the Virgin Media Mail section of the My profile tab, or does it show under the Manage Accounts tab?
If it doesn't then the email address isn't tied to your current account and is at risk of permanent deletion.
