I receive emails from email@em.virginmedia.com

Is this a legitimate email address for Virgin - I'm a little suspicious about the .em part

What are the emails about?
If there’s any links in the email do they point to a genuine VM website? If you hover your mouse over the link it should show what the genuine url is.

Questions have been posted before about that suspicious looking address . See this one for example, (very much the same as yours in fact) https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/Email-received-from-Virgin-Media  but there are many others.

At the time VM staff advised the address was legitimate but legitimate email addresses can always be spoofed (faked) so still be wary of any links in the email.

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post. I can confirm that the email address is correct and a legitimate email address as confirmed in the link that coenoby posted in the last message. Its always best to check these things as you can never be too careful.
