signing in to email

Virgin has recently changed the email sign in page. I accidentaly told it to forget my email address as well as my password. How can I change it back so that it remembers the email addresses but not the passwords?

Re: signing in to email

You can't. The autocomplete function on the new sign in page is disabled for security reasons. Needs to be entered each time you log in.

Re: signing in to email

Thankyou. I was hoping it would keep the email but not the password. I suppose it is further security.

Re: signing in to email

Do not be so quick to abandon autocomplete without knowing if the reason(s) for doing so are valid.

Re: signing in to email

The whole point is I did not mean to tick what I did and wanted to know if I could rreverse that. I would like my email address to be remembered  but not my password which is what it always was before.

Re: signing in to email

Until Virgin Media come to the realisation that disabling autocomplete does not achieve the security outcome likely wanted it will continue to be unavailable; this would still be the case had you not mistakenly deleted the autocomplete data.
