"Your mailbox is not available at the moment."

Hi

I am a long time customer and still have many ntlworld e-mail addresses.

When I have tried to access my email the last few days, it says:

Your mailbox is not available at the moment.

Please retry again in one hour and make sure you are using the correct password to access your email from all of your devices.

If the problem continues, please call our team for help on 150 from a Virgin Media phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone and select option 2. For details about how much it costs to call our team from a Virgin Media home phone, visit virginmedia.com/callcosts. Call costs from other networks and mobiles vary.

I have read other people have had the same problem and their mailboxes needed unblocking / re-enabling. Please can someone that works for VM get in contact ASAP so I can get back to using my email? I have tried calling but am just on hold forever. Thanks.

Sorry to hear of the issues that you're currently having with your mailbox @ntlworld21.

 

I can look into this further for you but we would need to do this over a private message, so that we can pass account security and get this looked into.

Thank you, it's now working again.

It's a shame I had to sign up to the forums as a last resort to ask for help and then wait 5 days for help, but there we go.

Please can I ask why this happened in the first place?
