just received an email which looked to be from virgin about my direct debit not going through and my account would be locked the address it came from is
Via helpdesk <email@example.com
looked genuine at first glance but checked my bank and direct debit has been paid.
never click on any link in an email check from your own log in on web site
i have forwarded the email to firstname.lastname@example.org
I have had the exact same email - guessing that's why their customer service line is rammed and messaging is down as everyone is asking them the same question!
It looked suspicious with the sent email, however it does look pretty genuine.
Hi there @hotwire,

If you are getting a spam warning returned, this means we're already aware of it and no further action is required 🙂
We also have a dedicated Forum page on our Community which lists all known phishing emails and is updated almost daily - feel free to take a look:
Hope that helps!
