ntlworld email not working

My ntlworld email was terminated by virgin media as I had not used it in a long time. I couldn't see any way of getting a new email without creating an additional account which I did, When I tried to login to said account I got a message saying that I needed to confirm the account via the email they sent me.... to the new email which I can't access until I confirm it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

That isn't the way the process should work for creating secondary accounts.

No verification email is sent by the process.  Verification emails are only used when changing the username of an existing account.
