In fact that error message usually means that the account has been locked but not necessarily that it has been hacked. You did the right thing by trying resetting the password because that does sometimes free up the account.
However, as that did not work one of the Forum Team (VM employees) can arrange to get that done for you as long as you are still a VM broadband customer. One of them will contact you on this thread and arrange to get the necessary details from you via the Private Message (PM) facility on the forum.
They may take a day or two to get to your post because they deal with the oldest unresolved posts first.
