I have a ntlworld primary email account, and a secondary email. The primary has been hacked and I was advised to change the password. I want to close the account, which I believe is an orphan and unsupported. I can’t log into Virgin Media, because it doesn’t recognise the email address. I get asked for my Virgin account number, area code, etc. I don’t know those anymore - it’s at least 5 years, since I changed my broadband provider!
How can I close an account, which still receives and sends emails every day; but Virgin doesn’t recognise it?
