Ntl account been running ok for years now suddenly demands pass word normally stored in password manager but refuses to accept it have account with virgin any idea how to recover this?

This will change the password for your billing account and primary email address. Secondary email addresses, password can be changed on the manage accounts tab at myvirginmedia.
If that does not allow you access, then come back and we can diagnose further or refer you to the Forum Team (VM employees).
