not accepting password for my email account

I was a Virgin media customer for years until I moved last year and couldn't get virgin in my area so had to cancel I was using my email fine until recently it wont accept my password no matter how many times I enter it as I have it on my phone and works fine any suggestions as like to use pc to access email as well

email accounts should be shut down 90 days after you leave VM, the fact that your phone can get them means it's starting to close so move all your important emails to a new account ie gmail

Email service is only provided as an add-on to broadband customers.  Therefore, the email and mailbox are supposed to be deleted 90 days after service ends. (See this: https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-media-how-to-cancel )

This is probably what happened to you.  you can confirm it by running the address through https://mailtester.com.  It should show red/invalid soon.

Take time to back up anything you want to keep.
