I switched to virgin broadband two days ago, but i`m unable to access my mailbox.
I get the message "Your mailbox is not available at the moment." This is a big problem as i now have no email facility. I tried phoning the help line but the line hangs up.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

If you are a new Virgin Media broadband customer then VM no longer supply free email addresses. Is the email address that you are trying to access one from a previous Virgin Media account that you had?

Hi Graham,
This is my first virgin account, i was trying to set up a second username and virgin have sent a confirmation email to my inbox which i can`t log into. kafkaesque

Additional accounts/second username can only be made using a third party email address to which you already have access. This is the address that the invitation will be sent to. You will need to log into that third party email account to see the email not into VM Webmail.

Who is the email provider for the mailbox you are trying to access? As I said VM are no longer providing email accounts to new customers.
