left virgin media months ago but getting nasty spam emails

I have left virgin about 4 months ago and my email is still active on my phone, I am now getting lots of spam and nasty emails, could someone help with this and delete all my mailboxes, as they may have been hacked, i cannot log into virgin ( I am the account holder) as they state that they do not have any of my details of any accounts.

getting fed up with this now.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with the spam emails and the spam.
May I ask what these emails are - are they marketing emails or emails from a Virgin Media email address that was made when you had VM services?

Can’t you simply delete the email account from your phone (and any other devices)?

In the phone settings……
