When I send emails from my Virgin email account (blueyonder.co.uk) to two different Yahoo users they are suddenly going straight into their Spam Folders, not their Inbox. They are perfectly normal emails with no attachments or links, and It's not happening with emails to other addresses.
I suspect that only Yahoo can fix this, but is there anything that Virgin could do about this situation?

Does this happen when sending via webmail?

All the emails in question are using a client email (Thunderbird) rather than Webmail, but I've been sending regular emails to these two people for ages using Thunderbird without a problem. And there's still no problem sending to other email addresses.

Hi mikes2400
Thanks for posting.
Can you try sending it from webmail just to test it?
Kind regards,

I've had no reply either to my email sent to the Yahoo recipient on Saturday, nor to another I sent this morning. Since I asked for a reply on both occasions, that tells me that they weren't received in their Inbox. Not everyone (unfortunately) checks their Spam folder regularly.
So looks to me as if it makes no difference how I send it. Currently anything I send to a Yahoo address is being treated as Spam by the Yahoo filters. I've used a specialist email testing service and got a 10/10 rating, so nothing wrong with my email address or message.

Thanks for your post @mikes2400
Do you have any other E-Mail address - either with Virgin Media or with another domain you could either try to contact the recipient with, or to test if those E-Mails can get through?
It may be worth seeking an alternative method of contact to see if you can have open dialogue with the recipient (if other E-Mail accounts don't work, or you're unable to test)
Kindest regards,

I'm afraid I only have my blueyonder email account. I have a large number of email addresses in my address book, but only two of them have this problem - the two who have Yahoo addresses. That seems to be regardless of whether I use Virgin Webmail or Thunderbird. The problem is clearly between Virgin and Yahoo.
