When I click to delete an email my screen goes blank then the emails reappear without the deletion.
This happens constantly on my laptop but not on android.
How do I check my emails without this happening?

Does the device in question have AVG installed on it?

Good Afternoon @Hoffmann, thanks for your post on our Community Forums!
Are you possibly able to offer us a little more background, with the question posted above being a handy starting point?
Kindest regards,

Thanks for your response!
I delete an email by using the bin symbol, the screen goes off then the email reappears without deletion.
I have found this to be the case when I tick the box without opening up the email.
If I open up the email and click on the word "DELETE" the deletion is successful.
I have an ntlworld.com email address and I wonder how I should safely access emails.
When I go to Virgin Media, click on MY Virgin Media, I then scroll down to "check emails".
The address is appsuite/#&app=io.ox/mail&folder and so on and I get a "NOT SECURE" notice.
What is the best way to access Virgin Media mail securely on my laptop?
Your comments would be much appreciated.
PS. I used to get the OX appsuite with the blue background on Windows 7 and now that I have Windows 10 I thought that the problems would stop.

AFAIK the same underlying process is followed regardless of whether deletion is instigated via or Delete link. Does this issue occur when using:

Modern web browsers will flag a secure web page (HTTPS) as insecure if content is fetched from an insecure (HTTP) source; read more here. In webmail the most likely cause is an inline image in a message sourced over HTTP; note by default webmail is set to not show such image without user confirmation. Navigating away from such a message and refreshing the web page (Ctrl + R) will restore the secured state.
