email @virginmedia.com hijacked

my virginmedia.com email has been hijacked and no emails sent to this address are being received. worst still virgins solution, change the password. Done that but still don't receive anything. I know its been hijacked because they have also hijacked my Amazon account which requires confirmation emails sent to that same email address to change password

As well as changing the password you should also change the security questions and answers to further secure your account.

You also need to follow the steps set out in section 4 of the VM advice to check that no autoforward or filter rules have been set up on your account to divert emails to another address.
