email - no go!!

For a while now I have attempted to log into my email accounts, I only use 3 with virgin, When I attempt to go to my email, whichever address I put in it, does not recognise my password or after several times of proving I'm human, it times out.  There is the odd occasion when I do appear to be getting in, but it just buffers for ever, I lose the will to live - so do something else.....like run into a wall several times......well almost.

I have changed my password several times.

I access my emails on my phone, but I know this doesn't allow me to see my spam folder or whats in it [spam on phone always clear]

What is happening, will it get fixed as it used to be simple many years ago.

Well I left things through Christmas, then tried several times to either get onto my media or mobile all with total failure. 

I tried again this morning -Oh Happy New Year all!!

Again no go, I cannot get onto anything Virgin such as media or phone, it either doesn't recognise or times out or just sits buffering.

I have to say this has now convinced me to look elsewhere, I will find out the pro's and cons of other services first, I am so annoyed that I will even consider paying for early cancellation.

So sad, been with virgin a long time.

I thought Steven from Virgin was going to sort it around a month ago?

I use bluemail on my android phone and it shows all folders.I can also access VM email on the web but I use mainly bluemail. Instead of trying to log in  on virgin email have you tried the REGISTER option? It should say it recognises you if it's all set up BUT the password problem is a mystery for sure!

On your phone in app settings if you have the my virgin media app, not the online portal, try this: (sign out of VM app first).. phone settings, applications,find VM app, clear cache.... Force stop. Then open VM app again try to sign in and if your phone has fingerprint security then maybe choose biometrics rather than password? That's presuming you got past PW stage?

It may ask register this device? If you haven't already OR choose YES to already registered if you've registered your phone before,. So frustrating when you can't login! What happens on a forgot PW link?

Well what can I say - I was wrong!! I can now get into my virgin emails.

I will put it down to old age or perhaps gremlins 🤣

It's definitely not old age. I guess those Gremlins were to blame.
