User name recognised so can't change password. How do I get this sorted?
Should say user name NOT recognised!
If you have a broadband account a virgin rep will assist you soonish
If you do not have a broadband account it may be that your email address is in the process of being deleted as virgin are shutting down all orphan accounts

Can you tell us if you're a current Virgin Media customer and have an active broadband account?
Are you having issues accessing your online account as well, or just your email?

Used to be a customer but moved house and virgin media do not cover the area we live now.
if you do not have active services, any virgin media emails will be deleted as per your terms and conditions.
