I'm a little confused by your post as the title suggests this is an issue when accessing the self-care account but the content of your post seems to elude to struggling to access an E-Mail account.
Do you use the .net account as the username for the self-care account?
I can see that you've also been able to chat with our team, in regards to this issue recently, have you been able to take their advice on board?
