hi everyone, over the past 2 hours ive spent 1 hour of it trying to get my old blueyonder email removed from my account as been hacked twice in past 6 months and now getting blackmail threats to this email after an hour on the phone i was told this old email would be removed and couldnt use it again. after an hour its still live so how long should i wait untill old email is deleted ?.
well its now been over 4 weeks since i called virgin media 11 times about this matter and then this morning out of the blue i get yet another email stating if i want said email deleting to call them but i have 11 times and the first call was 47 minutes and thought all was sorted. ☹️
Sorry to hear about this, what have the team advised around the issue? By now the email should of been shut down, what has been informed via the phone?
hi @travis_m all i keep getting from virgin media is to call them but as ive allready advised them i have time and time again with no outcome i.e email is still live. as ive allready stated that on the 27th decmber 21 i called eleven times about this mater and the 1st call lasted 47 minutes to be told ok the email will be removed and replaced with the new email i gave to the op during the 1st 47 minute call. since then apart from contact on here ive called another 10 times plus endless emails to which i always get the smae reply which is call them. calling virgin media is solving nothing as 1 month on plus endless calls plus emails have achieved nothing at all. you yourself put a ticket in almost 3 wks ago but said email is still live. i feel there is not a lot more i can do as it feels im banging my head against a brick wall. if it was just about spam id grin and bare it but some emails ive had are blackmail and threatening to which id of thought virgin would of helped with. as you say this email should of been shut down by now but even this morning more emails coming into said email. many thanks for getting back to me and for all your help.
