I am the Virgin account holder
I have an email address email@example.com
My wife has an email address firstname.lastname@example.org
I have just created 2 new email addresses but can only use
email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org as @virginmedia.com is the only option
I have just tried to convert email@example.com to firstname.lastname@example.org
The system says it has been done and to confirm the requirement by clicking a confirmation email, this email has not arrived.
If I log back into the portal for email@example.com it says waiting for confirmation email to be accepted.
Tried logging into firstname.lastname@example.org and it says account is not validated yet
Can someone help please.
You cannot 'convert' an email address from one domain to another. You will need to go back into your My Virgin Media account and cancel the change username operation that you have performed.
It is no longer possible create virgin.net email addresses or any ending in the other VM legacy domains. All new VM email addresses are @VirginMedia.com
