once again I am suddenly locked out of my email account, on all devices. I would appreciate it if Virgin Media admitted there is a problem rather than asking me to scan for viruses (done) and deny any problem exists. This has happened repeatedly - last time 3 weeks ago.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your email address.
I have managed to locate your account & I can see that there has been a notification "suspicious activity" coming from your email address, if you change the password on the account this will automatically unlock your mail box.
