Hi, I've just received an email that at first glance appears to be from virgin media but actually says its from email@example.com.
It's telling me that the password for my blueyonder email address is about to expire and that I need to click a link in the email to reset the password.
It refers to the expiry date twice and the dated don't match so I'm assuming it's a fake email.
Can anyone confirm this.
Yes, it will be a phishing attempt.
Virgin Media do not send out such warnings as there is no expiry date on their passwords.
