I log in to my account but have every time a click on the EMAIL link I get 'Your mailbox is not available at the moment.'. Any ideas why?

If you get the same result when using this link https://mail2.virginmedia.com/ then it is likely that the email account has been locked for security reasons by VM.
Try changing the password via your My Virgin Media account.
If none of this works you will need to wait for support from the VM Forum Team.
