When you log into your My Virgin Media account does the email address concerned show under My Profile and/or My Accounts tabs?
What message do you get if you try and access the email address via VM webmail at https://mail2.virginmedia.com/
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs

Hi rex666,
Thank you for your post. I'm sorry to hear about your NTL mail box.
I have been able to locate your account and do wish to look into this for you.
What I will do is private message you to get some details and pass data protection.
