Webmail SMTP Server Blacklisted for Spam

I got a legitimate webmail (https://mail2.virginmedia.com/appsuite/#!!&app=io.ox/mail) e-mail to a legitimate recipient rejected as coming from a SMTP server blacklisted for spam.  The recipient’s IT department told me the delinquent server is:

 smtpq4.tb.ukmail.iss.as9143.net

Please report it and get it fixed.

This seems to be a recurring problem.  Perhaps Virgin Media should consider a different webmail provider?

Speaking of which, I seem to be getting a lot of unfiltered spam at the moment. Perhaps ziggo need to get their act together?

Hi luddite0,

 

Sorry to see you're having issues with your email and SMPT SPAM. I've had a look at your account and can see that you've spoken to an agent about this who raised an IT Ticket. I've gone and emailed a Support Team about this on the back of that ticket to see if they can shed any light also and will update you once they get back to me.
