Virgin media question..

So my mother has been looking at a virgin media plan which is the gig1 plan, and comes with an unlimited SIM card which she does not need.

She will be a new customer and already has an o2 account with a sim card currently.

I believe the deal is a Volt 500 package which is upped to 1gig by the sim that they give you. Could we take the plan out, get rid of the SIM card and register her current o2 account and SIM card that she already has and retain the data speed uplift?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. 

That's not correct sorry - if it's a Volt 500 package the speed would be 500mb. You wouldn't get a speed boost on that. 

I'd advise speaking to the sales team on 0800 183 1234.
