I had an email account that was linked to my former partners account, they left virgin a while back and now virgin have deleted my email account with no warning.
As you can imagine I have important stuff on there along with addresses,to make it worse my daughters was linked to mine so she has been closed as well.
Is there anyway of getting these email accounts back up and running?
Ironicly I am with virign but using a different email address
Any advice would be great .

Unfortunately it's almost certainly gone for good. The real issue here that it was never your email account, it was always your former partners as the account holder, and once they left, everything to do with that account (including any and all email addresses) would have been shut down after a period of time.
I'm sure that a member of the forum team will reply in due course, but I suspect that the answer will not be what you hope for.

A warm welcome and thanks for posting on our community forums. We're sorry that you were not made aware that any email address you or your partner had with us will automatically be deleted 90 days after any disconnection on the account. We do state this is our term and conditions.
Unfortunately, some email addresses are missed and will remain active until we have a sweep and delete all email address on non active accounts.
As our valued member @jem101 has already advised, as this was your partners account and this is now fully disconnected you will no longer be able to access your old email address, and we will be unable to re-activate this.
We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Would have thought maybe an email warning would have been nice, especially as I have an ntl email so shows how long I have been with virgin(20 yeaes), ironically I have just signed up for another year, luckily in the period where I can cancel thankfully.
Maybe it is in the terms and conditions so probably my fault but will do virgin a favour and make sure as many people know what has happened as I possibly can on other forums.
And to think I defend virgin all the time, can see why so many people hate them now.

Edit: unfortunately for you the email address that you have been using was never actually yours, it was always a secondary address on your ex partners account. They always had the option to delete the account and until recently change the password without consulting you. So you could perhaps look at this recent event in positive terms as allowing you to regain control of an email account.
@Sparkes1234 Relying on a free email address addition from your internet supplier is not recommended these days. So even if you have agreed an extended broadband contract term with VM that doesn't stop you from changing to another free email account supplied by an independent ESP such as Gmail or MS Outlook, others are available.
