Virgin email account locked?

Hey all! Me again with yet another issue 😞 my mailbox is now locked. The instructions are telling me to go to a setting in my account that isn’t actually there. How can I get my mailbox unlocked?

I asked virgin on whatsapp who basically changed my password for me even though that wasn’t the problem and it didn’t fix it then ended the conversation with automated text saying they’re glad they solved my query. Getting so sick of the incredibly low quality service I’ve been getting from customer care, its stressed me out so much this week. They don’t listen properly, give me patronising suggestions, spelled my email wrong even when I’d written it out and don’t fix the issue. 😞

May I ask what exactly happens when you try the forgotten password route?

Are you able to send screenshots? Try avoid posting any personal information.

Hi Ilyas! Thanks for replying.

So when I reset my password, it does nothing at all for my mailbox. It just resets my account password. I get taken to this screen and am told to follow the steps but resetting my password doesn’t get me anywhere and I don’t have any options to generate a separate password for apps? Except I’m not trying to use any 3rd party apps to log in.
