VM304 authentication denied emailing error

So bored with this nonsense. Can send emails through the website, can sometimes send emails from the K9 app on my phone, but only sometimes. Tried turning off the WiFi and sending via mobile network, tried switching data SIM, so there's no consistency. If it was the email address having a problem I wouldn't expect it to work from the website but it does. If it was IP address then it surely wouldn't apply to all connections.



I understand VM email now requires App passwords for email clients on phones, laptops etc.  It could be that.  You can set up an App password from the My Virgin Media site.
