Hi all.
I am trying to use the Virgin Email address to add new accounts from two different Microsoft 365 accounts, but I face the same issue with both. These accounts belong to two other organisations and both have active sync settings. The initial auto-configure doesn't work, which is fine, but neither does the manual set. I pick the settings from the Outlook setting section, making sure all details are as instructed, but I still fail to add this account.
Did anyone face a similar issue? Or do you know what could actually be wrong?
And no, 100% of the details are correct. Double-checked a few times, as I am trying this since morning.

@AlexanderMTTH I suspect that it may be due to the higher levels of security that Outlook emails use. If you have two factor verification set to on the for the outlook accounts concerned than this Microsoft article may help with a solution: Using app passwords with apps that don't support two-step verification - Microsoft Support

Can you explain where Virgin Media email comes into this issue. It isn't clear from what you have posted so far. What is the relationship between the VM email address and the two Microsoft 365 accounts?

Hi Graham
Thanks for your answer. I am trying to set up the e-mail in my Virgin Media E-mail account. I use the Virgin Media e-mail address as my main one and wanted to use it to add these accounts there.

I have verified that using an app password created by following the instructions in the link and then using that to add the MS account to the VM webmail page does indeed work.
