Username change;managed account

I have change the username of a managed account but I'm unable to log in to confirm and verification isn't sent to old username.Please advise

It isn't a good idea to change the username of one virginmedia email address to another one as that can cause all sorts of complications going forward.  The confirmation is sent to the email address that you are changing the username to, so you need to have this address set up and available before you make the change.

You can cancel the process by logging in My Virgin Media with the original username and follow the instructions.
