I need to retrieve a few important emails from my secondary account as the primary was locked yesterday due to a breach wondering which is the best way to have unlocked ?

If this issue is related to the other thread you started https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/Email/I-want-to-close-my-email-account/td then I think it would be best dealt with by Forum Team (VM staff) member Zach_R who has contacted you by Private Message.
Once you have signed into the Forum you should see a "1 " against the white envelope icon at the top right of the forum page.
