Unable to send or receive emails using Outlook 2013

Have not been able to send or receive emails using Outlook 2013 since Tuesday 24/11/20.

Can login into the web to see/send emails, but in Outlook 2013, I get the message error (0x80048002).

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3) Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact ….

Tried to contact Virgin, stuck in a queue for over 45 mins, and hence decided to ask here.

Any suggestions?

The messages I am getting are :-

Task 'email name - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'email name - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'email name - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
Task 'email name - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook cannot connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Note email name are what are email account names (have deleted the name for privacy reasons).

Have you been able to get this resolved since you last posted?

 

If you haven't been able to get this resolved, please could you answer the below.

 

Are you able to receive emails via your webmail account?

 

Have you recently changed your password for your email or My VM accounts?

If you have changed your password, have you updated this on your Outlook settings?
