Unable to send email

Hi - I cannot send emails on any of my five different virginmedia email addresses, from either my windows 10 laptop, iPad or iPhone. I’ve deleted all accounts from these devices and tried re-adding but this has not fixed the problem. I’ve also reset all passwords. Virginmedia help line was no use as all accounts work on their website, so they wouldn’t take any further. Can anyone guide please? Thank you.

On the Windows 10 laptop open a Command Shell, run the following command and post the redacted result here:

curl -v smtps://smtp.virginmedia.com -u username:password 2>&1 | findstr "235 VM"​ 

where username:password is replaced with your email address and password, for example richard.branson@virginmedia.com:Y54kpX5g

Ensure you’re using the virginmedia servers:

For Windows Mail app:
imap.virginmedia.com:993:1
SSL yes
smpt.virginmedia.com:465.1
SSL on

iPad/iPhone:
imap.virginmedia.com
Port 993
SSL yes
smtp.virginmedia.com
Port 465
SSL yes
Authentication: ‘password’
