Unable to send email "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request"

Hello,

First time post on here for me. I am currently unable to send email using my ntlworld.com account. I get the error "An error occurred inside the server which prevented it from fulfilling the request." whenever I try. It has been like this for at least the last 18 hours. I am using webmail, via an up to date Chrome browser on Windows 10. I appear to be receiving email OK.

That problem has been reported a number of times on this forum recently. Based on the experience others are reporting the error does seem to be intermittent and clears after a while.

Sadly Virgin Media do not seem to have not offered any advice as to what causes it or if there is a way people can resolve it themselves.

yep its at it again tonight, what are VM doing about this ? what are we paying for ?
