Hi,
Since yesterday, I can receive emails but am no longer able to send them.
This happens on my pc and laptop, 2 seperate email addresses.
All settings are correct, I am using Windows Live Mail, have also set up on Windows 11 Mail and still won't send.
Can you help as I need this working.
Cheers

It would be helpful to see what, if any, error code is returned by the SMTP server in this situation. Open a Command Shell window and enter the following where username:password is replaced with your email address and password, i.e. richard.branson@virginmedia.com:Y54kpX5g:
curl -v smtps://smtp.virginmedia.com -u username:password
Do not post the resulting output here but instead review it for possible reported causes and then post just the redacted part here or the VM error code.

It says connected to smtp
Lots of info, then near the bottom it says
Authentication Denied (VM305)
Closing Connection
Shutting Down SSL/TLS with SMTP port 465
curl (67) Login Denied

The VM305 error indicate your public IP Address appears on Spamhaus's lists, to confirm this perform the following steps from the device that cannot send:

I checked my IP and it was on a blocklist, but now it is working again.
Seems that an update from Virgin had taken place which stopped me sending.
