I too have been unable to access either of my email accounts on my Windows 10 laptop since a Microsoft update yesterday afternoon (22-04-2022) I get the ubiquitous notic that 'Something has gone wrong'. My Windows 11 desktop and my phone are not affected. Come on Virgin, you must know what has gone wrong so set to and fix it.
There is no point in emailing me if someone replies as I can't access emails!!
