Unable to access emails (ntlworld.com)

Haven’t been able to access emails for a week, password reset after contacting 150, access to virgin media account works, when click on email icon get a sorry message.  Mailbox unavailable, try again in one hour.

on iPad and iPhone get a message ‘the username or password for ‘imap.virginmedia.com’ is incorrect.

Please help, getting desperate!

Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, I am sorry to hear you are unable to get your emails on your iPad and iPhone, what happens when you try to sign into webmail What happens if your wife tries to sign into VM webmail with the email address concerned? https://mail2.virginmedia.com/ .

 

Are you able to retrieve your email on other devices or this this happening on everything ?

 

You could also try resetting your IMAP setting, these can be found here .

Sorted, email account has been locked for to suspicious activity-for which I’m very thankful.  Just a shame it wasn’t recognised when I’d previously rang.
