Unable to access email account

Hi, since changing my account name last Thursday I cannot access my virginmedia email account, it says password invalid when its not and it doesn't show up in my account. If I enter the email address to open a new account it says that email address is already in use. Spoke on the phone to a service rep but she was unable to resolve the problem and she said she would raise the issue with tech support who would be in touch within 72 hours. Haven't heard from them yet but was not sure if they worked over the weekend.

Thank you for the post Debnam and welcome to our community. 

 

Just to confirm, when you log into your My Virgin Media account is this with the email address in question? 

 

If not, can you see it in the mailbox section? 

 

If this is the email address in question you can reset the password by resetting the My Virgin Media password if you can please try this.

Thanks for your email. This issue was resolved a few days ago and the email is working fine.
