Hi,
I’ve noticed for the past two days, I’ve been unable to access my BY account - it states (in both the iOS outlook app and webmail), that it’s failed to auth with the iMap settings.
No settings have been changed. I’m using imap.virginmedia.com with port 993.
I’ve completed a password reset (after a bit of hassle) but no luck.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

What error message are you getting when you try signing directly into that Blueyonder email account on the Virgin Media Webmail? You can do that from here https://mail2.virginmedia.com/ Do you get the "Mailbox unavailable" message or something-else?

The provided password for the e-mail address <email> is incorrect.
This is a secondary account if that makes a difference. And I’m trying to re-add the mail box since I removed it to try again.
The password was reset in the virgin media homepage, with my blueyonder address registered to it.

I’m slightly concerned now that I’ve deleted the account (via the webmail app) that this has not only unlinked the account but also deleted it?
Would really appreciate some advice from the moderators.
I assumed deleting the account from webmail would simply unlink it!

If you deleted the account using the delete option in your Primary account then you will indeed have completely deleted it.
The Forum Moderators just manage the forum so they will not be able to help you. However the Forum Team (VM staff who support this forum) might be able to restore the account. I suspect that a lot will depend on how long ago you deleted it.
To expedite matters I have escalated your post to them.
Hopefully one of them will contact you via this thread shortly.
