Stop blacklisted email addresses

How do I stop email addresses on my blacklist from still being sent through.

Every day almost.

If I try to blacklist them again I just get a message saying they are already on my blacklist.

Re: Stop blacklisted email addresses

Purpose of the blacklist function is to redirect those emails to your spam folder not to stop their delivery to your mailbox. If you wish to remove such emails from your mailbox consider using a filter rule instead.

Re: Stop blacklisted email addresses

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, I have tried that in the past but they use random letters and numbers etc in their email addresses to overcome that.

But, even if they have a "normal" address, the problem is that virgin still put emails into my inbox even though they know they are on my blacklist which, in theory, shouldn't happen, they should be, from what you said, be redirected to my spam box.

Re: Stop blacklisted email addresses

Review ☰ > Settings > ▸ Email > Filter Rules list to make sure that either the Blacklist rule is the first entry or that none of preceding rules are set not to processes subsequent rules. Post back here if issue remains and I will flag to the forum team.

Under Filter Rules, "Blacklist" is the only thing that shows up.Blacklist.jpg

Re: Stop blacklisted email addresses

Why can't there be a function to block a domain ? I can't see why it is too difficult to do? Too hard for VM to do but they still rip us off !!!!!!!!!

It doesn't make monry so why put resources into it !

Re: Stop blacklisted email addresses

Yes, there should be better blocking options.
