Spam HELP

Morning I keep getting spam emails and in the to box it is someone else’s virgin media email address and not mine .
Will blocking this person stop all the spam . It’s only happened in past month . My settings say reject all spam but every morning it’s there .

Should I email, the Virgin customer it’s addressed too ?

Your email address will likely be in the blind copy field (bcc).  It is the method used to send emails to multiple addresses without disclosing the individual addresses to each recipient.

Oh so this virgin customer is also getting loads of spam and phishing messages too .

thanks that makes sense . I’ve blocked every address but it still comes through
