You need to wait at least an hour after changing the password before trying to access the email account.

Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post your issue on the forums. I'm sorry to hear of your mailbox issues, have you been able to log into your email after waiting an hour after the password reset as @Graham_A advised?
