I have an 'ntlworld.com' email so been around a few years. just noticed in the last couple of days that sent mail older than 15th of september has gone. This is the same on tablet and phone, my main day to day devices. I've just checked through web browser (chrome) with my desktop and its the same. No changes to any settings anywhere have been made from my side.
After a quick web search it seems similar issues have happened to others before. Has anyone actually been able to fix this as all the threads out there seem to have fizzled out without resolution.

Thank you for getting involved. I managed to reset my my password after some fun and games actually getting the reset link email, and then issues with 'invalid password' despite meeting the criteria.
Anyway no joy after resetting the pass and allowing plenty of time for synchronisation.
