Scam account email

Just got an email. Looked convincing till I clicked on the pdf image. Then I could tell it was a scam. All the spelling was wrong.

Re: Scam account email

Opening remote content contained in suspicious emails is a risk best avoided.

Forward to phishing@virginmedia.com and delete; if during the send process a Spam Content Found warning is shown then Virgin Media are already aware of it and have started to block it.

Re: Scam account email

How was I to know it was a scam until I clicked on it. I though VM were using a new way of sending bills out.

Fair point. Was sender's email address domain virginmedia.co.uk or virginmedia.com?
