Has anyone else noticed that SMTP has become really flaky recently? Most times I try to send emails out I get a failure of some sort - either logon / retry or most recently server unavailable.
What is really annoying is that it usually works again in a few minutes, but when it does this every time I want to send an email, it gets a bit wearing.
I've checked that my IP isn't on a Spamhaus block list, and I know that my settings and credentials are correct - it just seems to be that the SMTP server(s) are overloaded or having network problems.
Is there anything that can be done to improve the situation? Is it even a known problem?

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your email via 3rd party email client. And sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing you. First of all, is this impacting you on the email client only? Are you able to send as normal, via our webmail? Is this issue impacting you on multiple devices? Have you tried more than one email client? Also. are the emails that are initially failing to send being sent to the same receiver? Are they large files? And lastly (for this first response) have you checked here, for tips, advice and settings? Do yours match?
