Register and sign in loop

Hi!

So I've just signed up to Virgin Media, appointment for install is booked and that's all going fine. I've just tried to register for My Virgin Media and checked to create an @virginmedia.com account and for paperless billing to be directed there.

I'm now stuck in a loop of:

>sign in

>asked to confirm my email (by clicking on a link it has sent to my @virginmedia.com account, which I'm trying to sign in to) or to change my username

I obviously can't confirm my email from this link as I can't sign into my account!! I've changed my username and tried again and I'm still stuck in this loop.

Honestly not the best first impression of Virgin Media.

Can anyone help please Smiley Sad

I'm really sorry to hear that you're having this issue, it's not the best start. 

I can appreciate you posted this on Tuesday, have you been able to sign in since? 


When are your services due to be installed?

Hi Emma,

I haven't been able to log in yet, no Smiley Sad 

My contract has been sent to a different email, but I also can't sign in with this one!

My pre-installation visit was today, Installation is on 20th July.

Sorry about this Alice. 

You should be able to sign in once the services have been installed, whilst I can appreciate the email asking you to register comes across as otherwise. I will ensure this is fed-back. 

Please let us know if you have any trouble doing this after being installed.

My install happened today, and went very smoothly (the engineer was brilliant!).

Unfortunately I still can't log into my account, and I am stuck in the same loop.

Hi Alex,

I can't, no, when signing in to email I get the same message. Then I can't confirm my username as I'm trying to log into the email to do this!

Just for clarification can I ask if you are now having issues signing in to your Virgin Media account or your emails?
