an email address I deleted long ago is still receiving and forwarding SPAM - how can this be ?

I've been advised that my old Blueyonder account is being used to create online shopping accounts. I can't log into the account via Webmail but I still receive email into the account as I still have it set up in Outlook.

I left VM 18 months ago.

Has some sort of zombie account been set up using my old Blueyonder account ?
