I have changed the password for my account but the clients (both iphone and outlook) are still reporting no password entered. What else can I try?
Yes - the refresh (or just waiting a few minutes!) has worked and we have mail again!

I'm sorry to hear you're also having issues accessing a secondary email account. Have you tried resetting the password as advised by @Akela?
